Alonso to join Bolton

REAL Sociedad have allowed midfielder Mikel Alonso to join Bolton for their pre-season training camp in Austria.
Wow , Bolton & Liverpool not very far apart , so our Alonson now have new Spanish kaki in England ...
Wanderers are considering signing the 27-year-old for next season and the relegated Basque outfit are willing to negotiate.
"Bolton Wanderers have shown an interest in acquiring Mikel Alonso," said a club statement.
"Real Sociedad have accepted the request made by the English club to allow Alonso to take part in the pre-season stage with Bolton in Austria.
"After that, Bolton will have to announce to Real Sociedad if they are definitely going to make an offer for the player."
Alonso could claim the squad place of Idan Tal, who looks to be on his way out of the Reebok Stadium after he was given permission to hold talks with Israeli champions Beitar Jerusalem

Just like Paul Gerrard is our Stevie G's cousin.
But seeing how.... ordinary Paul Gerrard is, Bolton can sign Mikel for all I care. -
