David Johnson is the first Liverpool player that makes me remember his name !
During the 80's ..... honestly it's only Liverpool !
From that time start , no turning back ....
From Ray Clemence , Jimmy Case , Alan Kennedy , Phil Neal etc ..... until now Babel or Voronin .......

What made me a LFC fan back then was the way the play the ball ard the park compared to other English League in the 80s. Played much like any continental teams, plays ball to feet often and dun lose possession often.
One particular player stands out for me at that point of time.. that moment... Ian Molby. Silky skills, excellent range of passing and creative player. Much like Xabi Alonso of now but wif brains.
Of cos the Kop was fantastic. So much passion. They will always be the 13th player on the field. -
Jan Molby , brilliant vision ..... but a bit too fat for Div.One standard that time !
