Sorry Allen .... i don't think we are capable to win this season .
Why ?
I think those new boyz on the block are not over-night magician ..... they need one more season to gel .....
I am not placing too much hope on Torres and Babel ..... i placed too much hope on Morientes , and then .....
I also placed too much hope on Speedy Gonzales , and then ....
I still think ..... 2nd ! -

Been in 3rd place for 2 consecutive seasons..no improvement in the league at all. -
Talking about gelling is kinda like an excuse to me.
Yes, players need time to accustom and get used to each other's playing style but that alone shouldn't hinder our ambition to win the title.
Chelsea showed that it can be done, so can we!

Maintaining 3rd will be quite good.
But frankly speaking, Rafa's style hasn't changed much. We're still prone to missing great chances in front of goal. -
2nd will be a big step forward
3rd is okay but within 5 points from 2nd please -
i would want to see us in the 2nd until December .... maintain that rhythm til the end of March , then we surge towards the last burst !!!
I opt not to see us on top til the end of April , that would be killing . -
Liverpool is a team suffering from consistency for the past decades.
With different managers, Liverpool can excel against strong team like Man Utd and flopped against sheff utd.
It is mainly the attitude of the players involved.
Under Ah Ben, the team can play very well in europe but flopped in EPL.
So, it is dependent on Ah Ben whether he have really figured EPL out and stopped his naggy issue of putting Stevie on the right flank.
As for expectations, I have learned from throughout the years of supporting Liverpool that dun expect anything and dun disappoint.
From what I see from the pre-season friendly, unless they can gel as a team and instil more hunger like Man Utd, they will always be a bunch of good players and not a team.
