midfielder have two primary functionalities: linking the ball from defense to offense, and offer protection to defenders.
i dont see much of that yesterday. -
I just donno why they cant play like against derby passing short balls instead of long ones i mean... we can play beautiful football like that and jus when the international break came, paco left suddenly and our form jus dip. pumpin long balls like last season again. OMG... Its more dangerous looking if we build up play and continue playing at opponents other half and we are jus not doing that anymore...
I got to say, Hyypia cannot make it first team alr... Why not we use Jack Hobbs? Instil new blood like we did in Agger. It was successful in Agger, i think Jack Hobbs can be the same too... After all Im very impress with Jack, i think he can sustain a place in the XI in the long run. Yea true, Gerrard shld really be on bench. maybe den the team without a captain can step up even more and score... i dunno 6 goals against Everton?

Actually Ah Ben did field the strongest line-up yesterday.
They were playing quite well.
As for stevie, I have to admit that he is obviously losing form and losing leadership.
As for tactics, Liverpool is seriously lacking support from the midfielders from advancing to the front line.
Even if Liverpool lose, I have heart that some of the players played hard.
Just drop the whiners cos the more they whine, the less they contribute on the pitch.
Kudo to the supporters at anfield and spurs for bringing the game to the Reds.
The Reds need lots of waking up and slapping to get them into shape. -

Again , not Hyypia's fault for those leak goals , the midfielders lacking in the mode of Alonso , who did farely well during his presence before he got injured . we had some clean shhets before Alonso went out injured .
It was a disaster to get Momo that day against Marseille ahead of Mascherano . Against Spurs , Mask did well .... -

Jack Hobbs... Top quality for his age...
Mikel San Jose... Look out for this guy... wiki it... very very young and realli is one for the future...
Ray Putterill a 2nd Gerrard i guess thats what they say though im a little skeptical over him...
Craig Lindfield... This guy may not seem famous or anythin but dun under rate him...
Insua and Nabil El Zhar are another two very promising youngsters...

The lads have to go step by step into the reserves , Fa Cup , Worthing Cup etc matches .... before taking up the first team . -
Give them 2 seasons. 2 of them at least can make it to the first team. Im putting my money on Jack Hobbs... =)
