Well, the heading does say 'The Future of Man United...' as compared to the heading for the Liverpool players, past and present. Nisteroy would be considered the history of Man United but certainly not the future.Originally posted by 798:just bought the tnp n read regarding gerrard's era n ronaldo's era.
tht hot reds of gerrard's band r:
hamann, alonso, owen, carragher n torres
while scums r:
nani, rooney, tevez, vidic n anderson
i LoL'd at the writer who put some of the players of manu who have YET achieved anything since they only join this season. have they forgotten RvN? thought he supposed to be one of best striker along wif henry? n furthermore he had won EPL metal too.
i feel it'sdumb to use the future to compare wif liverpool past n present players.Originally posted by SumOne:Well, the heading does say 'The Future of Man United...' as compared to the heading for the Liverpool players, past and present. They do seem to be putting Ronaldo on a pedestal but I guess it's because they choose the most high profile player from each side to 'feature' I guess. But Man U seems to have an over-reliance on Ronaldo at times, which might be their undoing.
me too!Originally posted by stellazio:i'm also with liverpool for this one.. cause i'm ABU.
yes it a big hoo-ha. but that is the 90's. everything has changed now.Originally posted by Poolman:Agree with MO , for us , playing Man Utd at Anfield , is always our match of the season .
See ... i am a cabby , for the past 5 years , my fellow colleague , when that particular Sat / Sun is a bit quiet , not much taxi demand , they always call me , asked : " hey siow eh , today got Liverpool MU si bo ? "
So this Sunday , i will be off , and wil be expecting them to call me , say : " KNN today si bey cheng , dunno what happened ? Wo Liverpool MU si bo ? "
I am saying , when Liverpool play Man Utd , Singapore will be , as a whole , can be pretty quiet ! Streets of orchard Road , shopping centres , cinemas , food courts , billaird saloons etc ..... that's what Liverpool vs Man Utd can do !
No other matches has got that effect .
Maybe more comments can be brought up here ? Anyone to add ?
Maybe we'll use that kind of formation playing at Old Trafford , but not at Anfield la .Originally posted by Medicated Oil:For sunday showdown, I have a nagging feeling that Ah Ben will field Torres as a reserve and play Crouch and Kuyt up front.
This will spring a element of surprise to Alex.
He may even field Babel as a lone striker for his long lost 4-5-1 formation, which he have not used for a long long time.
He is not one manager that will be drawn into this type of emotional turmoil about big four. (He have shown indifference for the past three seasons on this type of encounters)
So, he may deploy the Kia-see 4-5-1 formation to counter the wingers of Man Utd.
Nah,they wun keep quiet.Originally posted by 798:me too!
manu fans r very noisy these week, time for some team to shut them off!
huh??? it used to be Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest...now where is Notthingham (forlorn...)Originally posted by LBKLK:In terms of entertaining soccer, Liverpool vs Arsenal will be the match-of-the-season. It used to be Liverpool vs Newcastle Utd though.
It was the angle the reporter chose to take, although I find it really weird. Especially since they could easily talk about the past players of Man U as well. Nisterooy, Stam, Schmichael.Originally posted by 798:i feel it'sdumb to use the future to compare wif liverpool past n present players.
well, who know ronaldo is out next season to spanish league?
Confirm! at one time they asking sg who got more supporters between this two clubs. it is Liverpool n they could not accept it n they even urgh more pple to support manure.Originally posted by CoolMyth:TPN is pro-Man U one lah.
If Man U loses one match, it's a blip. If Liverpool loses one match, they lose their title hopes.
Two years ago, I posted the same thing also. Looks like there's no change over this period.Originally posted by 798:Confirm! at one time they asking sg who got more supporters between this two clubs. it is Liverpool n they could not accept it n they even urgh more pple to support manure.

but result is still the same.
they may have alot of glory achievement or win epl last season. but the fans behave like a bunch of losers who cannot take other fans' negative comments which r regarding their players.Originally posted by stellazio:thats why man utd is the most hated club.
