but knowing grant, as a new manager he will want his first trophy asap! benitez under abit of board pressure will also want to give a cup!
so in the end this mickey mouse match might turn out boring. -

watching this match is really a hair-tearing experience.
for a second-string lineup, liverpool is passing and defending rather well. but the sight of sissoko bumping into his own team mates and tripping over himself is a pain to watch.
at this rate, i wont be too surprised if chelsea could give the reds a sucker punch like what man utd did a few days ago. -

stupid challenge from crouch. it is a time for him to add to his goal tally and he threw in such a needless challenge.
and i am dying to know what is rafa's devotion over sissoko. once momo starts, benitez will never sub him out no matter how poorly he performs. he would take out gerrard, alonso, mas, babel. anyone except sissoko.
no doubt it is the least prized competition, but its the way liverpool lost that frustrates the fans.
when they come near the six yards box, players will shoot up, down, left, right. anywhere but towards the goal.
the only consolation is that itandje shows great reflexes and confidence between the posts. better than reina if u ask me. -
It is obvious Ah Ben wanted to throw in the white towel for the cup.
I dunno what is the outcome of the discussion with the owners.
As what was mentioned in the press, Ah Ben will have to sell so as to buy.
So, he have deployed a misfit team against chelsea.
His intention is to reduce any match congestion so that he can focus the CL and BPL when the rest of the Big Four are stuck with the Cup matches. -

When u see Benitez threw in Alonso for a run-in , u knew Liverpool treat this as a reserve match .
Plus the 'keepers , Lucas , Momo .... and super sub Crouch , u knew .... it's just another reserve game ....
I think i should email Parry , tell him to get the Under-21's to play all matches , like Arsenal instead . -
