Norwegian star set for Valencia

  Liverpool defender John Arne Riise is emerging as a January transfer target for Spanish side Valencia.
  
  The Mirror are reporting that Valencia will make a £4 million bid for the Norwegian during the winter transfer market.
  
  Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is keen to keep hold of the defender, who is a regular in the Liverpool squad. Valencia have already had one bid turned down for the player but are hoping to try their luck again during January.
