The Reds

Since my childhood, "The Reds" always refers to Liverpool Football Club.
Recently some other football clubs also start calling themselves "The Reds" when their jersey is not fully red. I think next time we can call Arsenal, Charlton, Manchester United, Middlesborough as "The Reds" too.

i always thought lpool was the reds.
man utd were the red devils.
arsenal the gunners.
recently though i saw newspaper start calling man utd the reds too.
dunno why.

Man Utd - red devils
Arsenal - gunners
Middlesborough - boro
Charlton - addicks (Correct me if I am wrong)
The press is just lazy or written by a bunch of non-soccer fans.

well. our local paper is the type who try to brainwash singaporeans n psycho them to support manure.
anyway i'm gonna boycott TNP from now onward for being bias toward manure. what for pay 70 cents for reading one side report dat praise only manure while putting down other clubs?

The Reds has always been Liverpool, Man U are the red devils. It's just that some people who don't know their soccer get confused. -

not as bad as last time where there was this reporter whose reports are way biased towards man utd compared to the ones now
i'm so glad he's not writing for the sports column often now...

for edwin yeo, i like his neutral reports, they are funny... at least to me.
and i like it when tottenham falls flat and his lamenting about the game.
overall, give me edwin yeo over the old man man utd supporter anytime.

Actually, nowadays I read for Iain Machintosh's stuff. It's kind of a breath of fresh air from soccernet and the other local readers. Some of the expressions he uses is funny, whether or not you agree with it or if it's too extreme.But ultimately, New Paper is good for when you're travelling via public transport and you got no access to a comp. Outside of sports, it does have articles that Today or My Paper will not have. On days where I stay home or when I'm with people the rest of the day, I won't really need New Paper.

from HyuugaNeji pointed out, even those moron reporters called manure "the Red" n Liverpool "Pool", it's no wonder these days pple will mistaken manure as the new liverpool.maybe Liverpool should sue manure from stealing their nick.

such as chelsea, birmingham, conventry, everton etc..

Lots of biasedness in reporting nowadays.
For example, Arsenal are now known as gooners(instead of gunners), pao bin炮兵 nowadays. Then liverpool is now just called pool...pathetic.
