Newspaper kept saying Rio Ferdinand not playing , i think otherwise , another set of mind game .
I always say , Man Utd vs Liverpool always a boring match .
Please don't expect plenty of goal mouth actions and excitments .
I expect this to be a stalemate affair .

This match is about controlling the midfield .
Who gained control in the middle , who will be in control of the match rhythm .
When one team trying to gain possessions , will have many foul's , technical fouls , non yellow card offense .

if pool score first it will be interesting. especially if its early in the game.

West Ham did us a favour last night .
This match did brought some relief to the team , meaning we can afford a defeat or draw if we're to maintain our 4th .
No stress to rush for a win . It's always difficult to get a win at OT , like wise , it's always difficult to get a win at Anfield for MU . If MU did ever win at Anfield , it's still possible to grap a late win .
If Everton beat Hammers , it will be a different approach to this match !!

If i am Rafa , i will plot to hold them on for the first 45 minutes .
Second half , we will try to change to a more offensive approach tactically more attacks .
To get 3 points from MU , u cannot score early , cos u know they'll pile in 3x the pressure after u score , especially with plenty of time .
U need late goals , like 78 minutes goals to kill them off to any chance of coming back .

As in 5-4-1
Effectively , Gerrard in between the midfield and striker .
Pennant will be my wide man .
Kuyt will be good defensively , he will my co-winger and striker , dual role .
3 centrebacks allows me to play a last man , so that my defense will not have a hole when MU penetrate by movements . MU players are capable of pulling defenders out .
More or less , the ideas quite similiar to the match against Inter Milan .

Why Arbeloa ?
For me , Arbeloa is the best Man-Marker against Ronaldo .
Ferguson is talking about Arbeloa la all the while .

I feel that Rafa should not chnage a winning line up as the mentality is there that with this formation, Liverpool can win games.

i dropped Babel , and chose Pennant , cos i think Pennant has more composure in big crowds . Babel never did well against big guns .
I remember Pennant scored one goal against Chelsea .
