luck not on liverpool's side today.
the first goal was from an offside and hyypia was denied a penalty. even the last tackle from cole on gerrard resulted as a goalkick. pretty much sum up the day.
nevertheless, liverpool can only kick themselves with such lousy performance in the first half and most importantly, the precious own goal from riise.

It's ok , fortune favours us before , now it's a turnaround .
Chelsea play better , the better team won .
Our first half was a disaster .
Ballack showed us why he is made for the big stage .
Drogba show us how lethal he was .
Grant wasn't the Special One , his team was tonight .
Good luck to them .
It's no easy for them against Man Utd .
For me , Man Utd will be the Champion this season .
They are just too good this season .

He can only take us this far.
Liverpool cannot be having the same position in the EPL for the next few season.
We have to overcome the top three.
If we cannot win against the top three, they will have this problem all the time.

their need a new owner more than a new manager ar.. -
the odds was against the reds right from the start. thats why i feel rather numb about the outcome. at least chelsea didnt walk away with a clean sheet and it wasnt lost because of some silly howlers.
both keepers deserved most credits for whatever outcome. reina and cech were the one that keep the team alive still the very last minute.
just feel gutted that the final is featuring my least favourite two teams.

We need to invest in a couple of defenders.
Hyypia is past his prime.
Age is catching up with Carragher.
Daniel Agger seem rather injury-prone.

Another talking point of this match would be Hyypia's penalty claims which saw him going down under Drogba's challenge . Unfortunate not to get a penalty

agree that more defenders are required. but i believe hyypia still have lotsa to contribute. i dont see many defenders who can read the game as well as he does even though he is getting slow. the reds shouldnt make the same mistake like what they do to hamman.
agger is plain unlucky this season. his absense really cause a lot of unbalance to the team's defence.

I beg to differ from opinions of medicated oil ... changing of manager can guarantee success , or guarantee better than Rafa ?
I can forgive MO if he say it out of frustration , but in reality , this is not a good solution .
At the moment , no soul can tell me there's one manager as good as Rafa . If base on reputation , not even Mourinho can guarantee success in Liverpool , i also dun wan to see him in Liverpool .
But like most of us had said , changing of a new owner can surely bring $ucce$$ into L'pool . I said surely .... most rival fans will be worried if the Arab King personally bought L'pool .

But overall, standard wise ...Man Utd and Chelsea played some high level of football .... and on a consistent basis .... that's what matter most - consistancy !!!
