[color=red][size=large]I read about GH attended a Board's meeting , yesterday ? I think the Board has make it very clear , no more craps from him again , or he'll go !Originally posted by sillyme:looking at liverpool's history of holding onto managers.. i don't think it'll be so soon..
[color=red][size=large]Like Real Madrid's Queiroz , you think he did all the job like GH ? No ! He only take charge on coaching , the rest ......Valdano , that Argentine Technical Director of RM , have all the say , of course with his RM's boss !Originally posted by BÃ¥seline:Poolman has a point there on the role which GH will assume IF there's ever a shakeup in the Manager's role.
No doubt GH has done well to made Liverpool a team to be reckon with in recent times after some barren years with the last 2 managers, it's probably about time to engage someone to inject new coaching ideas and tactics. After all, GH has been more mellowed since his Heart bypass surgery and the often high stress level of EPL might take a toll in his health.
And the apparent support of players who under-performed deemed mystified to me too.
What do u mean "tactically smart".Originally posted by www:btw, there is always two sides to view such problem.
houllier can always be blamed for not being tactically smart.
on the other hand, players should also bear some responsibilities for not performing up theirs and fans' standard.
manager can only pass down the instructions before the game, and when the players are on the field, they are the manager themselves.
liverpool can change another manager but i dont see much of a diff if the players' mentality to the game remains stagnant.
dont be a goon.Originally posted by shining_force:What do u mean "tactically smart".
Are u certified to start off with? The examples of his tactical bluders?
Look wats on the press does not even come close in reflecting the real deal! Reading the sports column (hey isn't that where we get most of the information from) does'nt makes u a manager either.
Not even managers those of the EPL has ever criticze not to even question the ability of GH!
Well are'nt you a goon yourself huh. Not getting the right reason does'nt mean all fault lies with GH. Its always easy to play the blaming game. And more than anything else all the strings of bad results was arrowed at his "tactical inability".Originally posted by www:dont be a goon.
my point wasnt to criticize his tactical skill but to emphasize that faults lie on both parties, namely the manager and players.
he could be "tactically smart", but probably not anymore.
dont even bother to defend it due to the fact that he is not getting the right result.
sighz. precisely. which is what i am trying to do back there.Originally posted by shining_force:Well are'nt you a goon yourself huh. Not getting the right reason does'nt mean all fault lies with GH.
