yes he'll definitely leave liverpool, overseas will be great for him to develop his potential to the fullest, he's still so young
i think fandi ahmad and abbas saad will make excellent replacement for him.
maybe alistar edwards also can

Nobody is inreplaceable !
If he choose to leave the Red , then good luck to him ! It take time to get a striker to play upfront without MO , but LFC won't struggle without MO !
No doubt he's a Gem for LFC , there's more player out there who really wants to play for LFC ! -

Hmmm...very few. Off hand I can think of only one - Keegan. He won the European footballer after joining Hamburg fm LFC. He's probably the exception rather than norm.
Back to OWEN... I'll be saddened if he leaves, more so than when Fowler was sold. True tat no player is bigger than the club...but it'll be a big step backward if he goes. So let's cross our fingers for now. -

He did won with the Galactica grp of stars at RM but as a player, dun think it's very satisfying to warm the bench for most of the time there. Think he featured less than 10 first eleven matches in one Season. I kinda like the club more than the players. So if he so wants to go, please invite him to leave.

It's for sure that no one is indispensable, not even Owen. If he wants to leave, it's only for his own good cos it'll only improve in his game and a chance to taste Champion's league glory in another big club be it in EPL or other leagues.
I will certainly miss him but will appreciate the fact that he has done alot for the club and to the fans as well. A great professional too.
If Owen ever leaves, there's still a couple good strikers around like Pongelle and Baros... young and talented and hungry for success.
Heard that Cisse from Auxerre is the next January target of GH. He should be good cos he had shone abit in the last World cup as well. -

Cheyrou was tipped to be as good as zizou, le tallec and pogolle are tipped to be the future of french football, heskey was tipped to be a great striker, camara was tipped to be the most exciting player to play for liverpool this decade...blablabla..
no use bringing up our hope and crash them into pieces in the end. The only good buys that GH made among all the other dozens were Baros and Hyppia. Kewell? he wanted to come all the while. -

Its true that no player is irreplaceable.
Question should have been whether or not Liverpool can find a quick replacement for Owen.
Take Dave Beckham for instance.He's left the club but United has struggled to find an immediate replacement to fill the slot left by Becks.Christiano Ronaldo?He is still learning his trade.Diego Forlan?Not quite.Solskjaer?I don't think so. -

Then it's the question of finding a good replacement. We did it when Rush was sold (with Aldridge)... but dun think we can be so lucky always.
Someone mentioned Cisse...I feel he's not proven yet, so if we do buy him, it can only be a gamble.
Anyway, I'm still hopeful tat Owen will stay.

with the money generated by selling owen, hope the management can bring in more quality players like may five more milan baros and not to mention our new stadium at stanley park. My only regret is that I'll never get the chance to visit Anfield and sit at the Kop end...

At the moment, no one can deputise for an injured Michael Owen.
The team can't score and heskey needs more match sharpness.
