Owen V.S. Rooney

Both are Liverpool born and bred. Both exploded into the scene at a tender age.
Now which is a better all-round player ?
Owen for me. I admit it is a biased choice but life isn't fair anyway

as far as skills are concerned, i go for rooney. with respect to ball-controlling and shooting ability, he outshines owen by quite a bit.
but if i am a manager, i would prefer to manage player like owen because of his mentality of self-discipline. -

I dunno leh ! I like players of Fowler mode , someone of Raul's class , Dalglish ...... Beardsley......type of players ! One flick , one touch , one turn , one shot ...Goal !!!
Actually , Owen is about SPEED ! Physically........I have doubts.....Holding ball capabilities......he's not the best ! Of course you'll never see Owen do the footballing tricks that often ! Maybe positioning wise , he's better than Rooney !
Wayne is different class ! He can shoot well , run well , pass the ball well , and best thing he possessed , he can play behind the two front men ! If you put Owen behind the two front forward , i guess he's lost !
A lot of fans will cry if Owen leave , not me !

i thought most liverpool will hate Rooney because he is an everton player.
My all-time fav england striker is alan shearer. If i were to choose between owen and rooney i will choose owen because his finishing is much sharper compare to rooney. But owen is prone to injuries.

oh come on...let that kid grow. He's only like 18, not even an adult yet. Start the comparison 2 seasons down
yeah, but at this stage I must say he's a better finisher than owen when he's the same age. Oh and he look like a cao ah beng.
