Liverpool played reasonably ok. Just lacked the concentration towards the end.
As long as they score, it doesn't really matter how they do it
Riise had a good match. He has been under-performing this season. I hope he can do better.
Luckily this match we don't have Heskey playing for Bolton for a start

When Liverpool play Heskey, they always play a handicap match as they are playing with 10 men

The "impact" can be seen when he is substituted in the last 30 minutes

You will observe the midfield paddling back to defend.
No one was carrying the ball up front and some one keep losing the ball.
Maybe GH feel that he should provide some laughter to the Anfield crowd by substituting two clowns at 60 mins

Heskey cannot score, dribble, defend or tackle.
What can he do ?????
Nothing except losing the ball, taking 10 millon pounds and never do work.
He was saying that he can ignore all the fan complaints and play ball. And admit balantly that it is ok not to score too much goals cos he is not OWEN.

A friend of mine asked me why doesn't Heskey gets injured like what Owen, Kewell and Hamann does lately.
It's simple I replied.... he doesn't challenged much for the ball, run ragged against defenders. -

sack houllier and sell heskey!!! tt's the only way liverpool can make it to the champions league next season. honestly, i feel tt houllier has lost his touch after the heart surgery.. His tactics are kinda outdated and liverppol's once "rock solid' defence is now like a leaky tap... notice how liverpool always struggle to clear the ball in their penalty area? Pedersen scored the goal was partly due to liverpool defenders unable to clear the ball.... SELL HESKEY AND SACK HOULLIER!!!!!
