Gerard Houllier has urged Chairman David Moores to reconsider his pledge to look at his own position if Liverpool fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.
Houllier believes Moores remains the right men to stay at the helm at Anfield, insisting that continuity is the key towards a bright future for the club.
The Liverpool boss said: "The Chairman is the best supporter of this club. He is the best fan.
"He only wants the best for the club and last night I think he was saying that if people felt it would be in the best interests of Liverpool for him to look at his own position then he would do that.
"But I think that would be a mistake. Continuity is the key for this club. We are all in it together and we need to stay together."
Our dear GH is having cold feet now that the Chairman have put his head on the chopping board.
It is kind of strange that from beginning of the season till now, GH hold a STRONG belief that he will remain LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB MANAGER by the end of the season.
He choose to ignore call calling for his head.
And he seem unwillingly to give up his job.
Unlike Kevin Keegan, GH have no guts to say that he will resign if he fail to deliver.
He know that LFC dun sack their managers.
Now, Owen is for real fed up with GH empty promises and really decided to move on.

[color=red][size=large]It looks like there's a bust-up between Moore and the club's third biggest share-holder of Steve Morgan !
Steve Morgan , being the 3rd Biggest share-holder , was not in the board of directors , and apparently ...he wants GH to go , which he doesn't have the say !
The scenario is likely that Moore's intervene , with his pledge that he will leave if Pool miss out on the UCL .... again !
Which means Moore go...GH will go too !
Let's hope Liverpool lost the fourth place , and here goes GH and DM ! And Owen too.... 
And let's start all over again ! As long as the Real Liverpool FC come back ! -
Players was seen playing not their usual position, inflexible tactics, players not knowing what to do with the ball and pumped high balls into the center for Hesky to knock down to the front strikers...... what's new here?
Whether GH would be sack or not, tactically... it has to change to suit the mordern day football. The quality players are there but they are not playing to their full potential. -

David Moore is under-fired for his insistence in supporting and keeping GH.
I am just disappointed in GH's comments as he is giving the people the impression that Moore's resignation does not involved him.
He is acting just like by-stander.
He never say: "Moore go, I go too!"
I think Moore must be disappointed in employing a manager that is more concerned about his own ass, refusing to acknowledge a crisis, wastes money and tactical FOOL.
Chelsea must laughing deep inside now that the REDS having so much confusion before the match. -

By Liverpool standards.... a position other than the Top 4 is considered a failure. We are playing like a mediocre team and Anfield is no more a place to be frightened of.
How much has GH brought some silverware in his early tenures in charge... thank you very much but we have to bring in someone to bring Liverpool to greater heights. A manager to bring in fresh ideas, tactics and silverware. -
Read tat this Steve Morgan is waiting to pump in cash by acquiring more shares. If he has a say, GH is likely to be sacked; and with his cash, more quality players can be acquired. Not sure if and when this will happen...but the possibility is there.

Keep me updated please....oh Chelsea preparing a bid of 25 million for Owen. If I LFC board, I go for 35 million pounds and let him go if he wants to go.
