Our youngsters...our future?

]How much do we know abt our youth players, esp. those who have progressed from our youth-system?
For me, not very much. Why? Coz I dun think they're being exposed too much. Question - are they not good enuff?
I've heard of Patridge, Welsh, Whitbread...n recently, we saw Ostemebor whom I thot was good enuff for the 1st team. But what are we keeping them for - "next christmas"?!
I'm not sure what's GH's policy is but I think he's pushing their patience too far. Besides the current 1st choice, they've to compete with other youngsters bot in fm elsewhere...I can only empathize with their frusrations/agony.

This is one department, GH was bombarded during the AGM. My conclusion, he would not let the boys from the academy play unless they're French.

He trust , and place a great deal of faith in his French contingent even though majority of them is playing below par !
Vice versa , he lacked the trust and faith in the true Reds Youth , which I thought they deserve a chance to shine in this level !
How to shine when you're playing ?
I really hope he know why there's Michael Owen , Robbie Fowler , J.Carragher ! All because they were given a chance to play !

]We won the reserve game last nite agst Everton. Welsh was one of the stars and scored a 30-yarder...so I hope GH will be impressed.
MOM tho was La Tellec. His partnership with Pongolle was the highlight of the match. He even scored the 2nd goal with a screamer and created several chances for Pongolle... too bad, the latter failed to score fm them.
Anyway, there were other youngsters in the game too - Ostemebor was used in right mf whilst Whitbread was solid in defence. Foy was another tipped to shine in the future.
This game also saw Carragher and Finnan on their comeback. -
