Is CISSE really coming?

  Recent stories abt him doing the medicals and his openly admission of wanting to play for LFC do signal tat his arrival in summer is imminent.
  
  Do you guys think the deal has already been sealed, albeit "secretly". Will tat change if GH leaves at the end of the season?
  
  Also, there's talk abt his valuation being almost 14m pounds. I find tat rather pricey given the fact tat he's not really proven at the highest level.
  
  If he really comes and Owen stays, do you see them forming a great partnership terrorising EPL defences?

  To be honest and frank to all Liverpool fans, no one have really see and assess how good Cisse is.
  
  He is claimed to be deadly and good.
  
  But, can he do well in EPL ??
  
  Being a Liverpool striker is pretty hard work as u need to defence, play midfield and score goal.
  
  He may end up like Diouf = a expensive winger ??

  With the current market valuation, 14 million pounds is way too much for a unproven Striker whose plying his trade in France's top Divison.

  My gut feelings tell me that Cisse will be a Liverpool player next season.It's a welcomed move but I doubt it will be for that hefty 14 million pounds.It will more likely be in the range of 10 million pounds.
  
  Whether or not Cisse will do well in England is anybody's guess.Liverpudlians,cross your fingers and hope that Cisse will do a Thierry Henry and not Stephane Guivarche.
  
  If Cisse does well,I can see the departure of Emile Heskey.

  Based on various reports, Cisse is almost certainly coming to Anfield. My curiosity lies with the timing of his medical - why so soon leh? Will he surprise everyone by joining us in Jan04?
  
  Perhaps they wanna kill off interests fm other clubs - I luv it when he snubbed Manure n Fergie! Or maybe they wanna add pressure on Heskey - strange enuff he seems to play better these days.
  
  Yes, Cisse's still unproven. But yes also, he could be the next Henry. Tat we wun know till he joins... but life is a gamble rite? Juz hope the stake is not as high as reported.

  Just how good is he ? I've seen him played on Ch.22 European Soccer Show , and saw him play like .........a mixture of Owen & Heskey ! Fast yet strong , both in the air and in his ball shielding power !
  
  And one thing he has something both Owen & Heskey doesn't have - His shot is power-pack ! Accurate and unstoppable !
  
  That's why Heskey is worried about his future !
  
  But Heskey link with AC Milan , flattening for Heskey huh ?

  Seems like Heskey still has some market value...wonder if we will sell him soon.
  
  Have not seen Cisse play, but remembered reading he can be a hot-head...so I'm surprised abt GH's interest in him. Anyway, he's in the French squad which means there's certain quality in him.
  
  Buying any new palyers is always a gamble...I hope Poolman's assessment of him is dot-on, then we shd all be smiling soon
