Whether we deem GH to be a success or failure, a death threat is the last thing he deserves. As a fan, how would u expect this to help our course? If anything, I'll say it enhances his chance of staying for another term/longer...coz no one with a sane mind would wanna fulfill the wish of such lunatic.
I think GH put up a brave front to say he's the least concerned. Juz put yourself in his shoes after receiving such threat which chillingly included details of the layout of Houllier's home and his daily routines. The fact remains, does he deserve it?!
To me, the words of the Official Liverpool Supporters' Club's chairman Les Lawson sum it all:
'No true Liverpool supporter would think of doing such a vile thing.
'We want the madman who did it caught and punished before he does anything else to tarnish the good name of Liverpool FC.
'The team may not be producing what the fans want to see on the pitch at the moment, but it is up to the board of directors to decide when it's time for a change of manager, not a sick individual.
'And, if Gerard Houllier left Liverpool tomorrow, the club would still be in a better state than it was when he took over.'

That's very bad for you to say that to encourage someone to kill GH. I only hope GH to kena heart attack and die or stroke if he doesn't quit.
