Looking at the fixture for the last few games , I think Charlton is favourite for the 4th , and Newcastle 5th , and us 6th !
Unless LFC can prove that they can be consistant when is needed and matter most , they lack the consistency through-out this season !
Charlton's home games is all but easy ties ! They only had to worry about the remaining 4 away , which includes us , Newcastle , Fulham ? All are capable of reaching 4th ! And a game for relegation candidate -Leeds !
I was wondering , will Arsenal do us a favour by letting us grap al three points from them ? Since they're almost run-away with the Title ?[/size] -
If our 1st-half display agst the Gunners earlier in the season is any benchmark, I'll say we can beat most if not all the EPL team on our day. Sadly, our day dun happen very often.
The run-in is interesting in tat the 3 teams most likely to end up 4th - LFC, Toons & Charlton - will be playing agst each other. The team which takes most pts out of these matches will be favourite.
We have an advantage in tat we will be both of them at home. H/r, our other matches are also tougher...notably agst Gunners and MU, both away.
How I see it is we're capable of getting there... all we need is to play more like we did agst P'mouth - with passion and with fire - for the rest of the season. It's really up to us... so let's slaughter the Wolves for a start!!! -

Put it this way.
We have been going through the same stuff for the last three season.
Praying that Liverpool will play well to qualify for CL.
We dun have to go this suffering if the players bother to put some effort in the first half of the season.
So, I really dun expect any surprises.
Liverpool will not and do not make it.
Let see what happened then. -
Reds will remain the same points as Newcastle (when Newcastle draw... Reds draw... when the lost to Spurs.. we lost to saints)
Its all planned..... for a sell out crowd.
Will have to wait till the very last match with Newcastle then see who win who gets the 4th spot.

In fact , it's Shearer's Newcastle that is looking extremely dangerous !

Away : Bolton , Villa , Man City , Southampton , Liverpool
If that's the case , Liverpool stands a chance to pip Newcastle for the 4th ! Providing we have some luck ! -
if LFC makes 4th, you can bet on another season of boring mediocre football when GH stays...

It is a difficult decision.
We have endured three season of nail-bitting for qualifying for the 4 th position.
Do we want the next season to be the same again ?
Owen missing penalty ?
Heskey shadow-dancing on the pitch ?
Biscan mis-tackling and giving free-kick ?
Long ball tactics ?
Gerrard rest and the whole team sleep ?
GH for giving better excuse after every match instead of better team tactics ?
A team which every opponents have a chance beatiing even if they are medicore ?
An re-vamp is required for both the manager and players.
A new manager would have new tactics and wake up the attitude of the players.
If not, give the youngsters a chance and do a good clearance of players that do not perform on field ie Heskey.
So , I am all for Liverpool for not getting the 4th position.
They need to regroup, rethink and reform before they get any worse. -
Aiyah, it's no point feeling down with things beyond our control.
As a fan, I'll juz hope for the best for Reds...whether GH stays or not, frankly we have no say/control. -

Yeh, Morgan dun sound too good to me. He's known to be in loggerheads with the current owner (Moores).
Heard he has his own agenda...more for his own selfish gains and for the club. Good tat he's been rejected this round. -
watching football focus last night and looking at the fixtures ahead for Reds, it dont look good.
Only way to be sure of the 4th position is to beat all the teams.
