Why can't Liverpool play against Southampton like we played against Portsmouth ?
Such a big contrast ?
Did GH said something like fatigue last weekend ? Now what ? We just play like we had a good two weeks off !
So it's confirmed , that's an excuse !
So , anyone saw the whole match , I've seen the full 90 and I love it !

It's been a long time , after watching a Liverpool's match , I can sleep soundly ! Now is 6.30am , I can finally sleep ......smiling !

They have finally decided to play well after some heavy insult.
Why do they need this kind of negative motivation before a match ?
Gerrard decided to play and the rest played well.
They are still unable to convert their chances at goal.
Not sure whether they rest their laurels for the next match. -
Heard Owen had a good game too?! Lucky no penalty to take hor?!
Also, the 1st goal by Didi was a cracker - will catch it on Cable tonite - 8.30pm (on ESPN) and/or Sportscentre, then on the news at 8.30/9.30/10pm.
Sounds like they played with lots more conviction...was it due to the criticisms they heard the whole week; if so, pls critisize them more till the season end.
While I'm happy for the win, I wun be carried away basing on 1 performance. We know we are capable of playing good footy...the key is still consistency, ie, to do it match after match and regardless of who we play agst.

Oh Yes ! Liverpool played with Total Conviction last night !
Mick Owen was right there , everywhere , taking on players , dribbled past players , closed-up opposition ! And scoring ! He can be better !
I heard a rumour from a friend just before the match , dunno he got it from where , that Sven Goran Ericcson did called him up and warn him he needs to starts scoring or his England's job will be chopped , and my friend said he sure will score ! He did !
Sven , can you call him everytime he gonna play ?

I think the lads knew that by winning this game , this coming Saturday , Charlton will play Newcastle , one of them will drop points , or better still , both drew the game ! So this match is crucial , in a sense.....will widen the gap away from one of this two !
Charlton is the favourite for me , why ?'cos they have easier games til the end !

For me, every match is a mountain to climb for Liverpool to climb, MU or Wolves.
That is no difference if the REDs decided to rest their lazy legs again.
So, no point counting the eggs before they are hatched.
Even if they qualified for CL next season, would they survive ???
Just play a good match against Marseille and stop leaking goal for the last 15 mins.
No expectation = No disappointment.
GH and the players know it and it is up to them.
We have screamed, shouted and scolded the whole season liao.
Only a LIVERPOOL FAN is a TRUE fan,
Cos no matter how hard we complained about their lousy play,
we still watch and support them even if they lost. -
I agree it's frustrating when we know we're capable of playing better and yet the players are not doing it.
If there's any ambition at all in the players to want to play at the highest level - CL stage - then I hope they show it to us in the remaining 10 matches... and continue fm there. -
Watched this game twice.
Its hard to believe that this was the same team that lost to the saints just a few days back.
All the players played their guts out.
Owen chase for any loose balls....and even help out in defence, it was his quick reaction that created the first goal.
Biscan also made effort in attacking and almost rewarded with a goal.
Just hope the Reds dont take off days again. We cant afford off days.
