... that record is hanging in the balance ... its a bit of dilemma for me ...
... on one hand i don't want our record to be broken ... on another hand i don't want man u to win

This team has to be my all time favourite in terms of playing style. Led by the fearsome frontline of Barnes, Bearsley and Aldrigde, they almost did a double-double. But tat unbeaten start/run was superb by itself...of course, they went on to win the League tat year.
In terms of achievements, I think the team of 83-84 (with Rush and Dalgish) were the best. They completed the double-treple tat year -League title/European Cup/L-Cup n 3 consecutive League titles.
My most memorable match was the 85-86 FA Cup final when we came back fm a goal down to beat the Bluenoses and completed the double (League and FA Cup) for the 1st time in our history.

It needs a very good team to beat Liverpool's record ! And Arsenal had been doing very well to deserve it !
Whether or not MU won or Arsenal won , it doesn't matter a lot to the title chase ! Arsenal are going to get another double ! Treble ? No way , please give some respect to AC Milan , and Real Madrid ! No disrespect to Arsenal , they're no where near AC Milan , you saw how AC whacked Deportivo last night ? I think you know what I'm talking about !

80's were a decade of fantasy for me !
Last night i saw Barnes' interview by LFC.TV and was impressed by a quote he best describe when he's at Liverpool :"Everytime we ran out that season , be it Home or Away , we were confident of winning and it was just a fantastic to be part of a team that played good attractive football ! We didn't have to defend most of the time because we never gave the ball away !"
Wonder if GH read about this interview ?
I really hope GH knows about the Liverpool team of the 80's , 'cos the team of the 80's don't play Long Ball !
