It doesn't matter whether or not Biscan was sent off , Liverpool were second best last night ! They don't deserve anything ! I'm happy Liverpool are out , finally !
Can you imagine how bad Owen performed last night ? He was eventually replaced , the very first time I saw sense from Houllier !
Heskey was not any good either , other than his finishing , he was absolutely awful !

I only watched first half.
I thought they played not too bad in the first half. Except, as usual, losing steam towards the end of first half.
But Owen was non-existent. Basically our strikeforce didn't play well. But midfield and defence held tight. -
Good News for the Mighty REDs !!!
Now Liverpool can FULLY concentrate in the remaining EPL match.
Newcastle will be too occupied in winning UEFA Cup.
Liverpool can now finally achieve their objective of the season:
Not to win any silverware, but just to secure a miserable 4th place of EPL.
Kudo to Mr GH for his excellent soccer strategy in getting eliminated from all Cup competition.
Now, the Loyal REDs fan dun need to wake up in the early hours to watch the Impressive Kampung Soccer displayed by the REDs.

Well done boys for proving me right that the goal scored by Marseille is the killer for Reds. If they did not give away that goal, Reds will be through.
Yes.. blame it on the refree as aways BUT hey GH! that's the cruel fact of soccer. One thing I can't understand, why some teams can played better with 10 men and Reds can't? Why Reds crumbled with 1 man less?
Well... at least now GH has one less excuse (tired players) if Reds dont get the 4th spot. All GH need to do now is to concentrate on the EPL 4th spot.

actually to me it is a blessing in disguise. the exit will make it more difficult for gh to retain his position. for the long term sake of the club, he must go at the end of the season, regardless liverpool in champions league or not.

Liverpool Hospital have informed the REDs Board not to sack GH.
Or else GH will end up blaming Liverpool for employing him.
Life would be meaningless if GH dun have anything to blame after he is sacked.
Newspaper would have nothing to write about.
No one would pay attention to him.

it makes me wondering whether liverpool will end up the sorry states like leeds one day. the players do not have the desire to win and play lousy football.
right now even though pool is at the 4th position but sad to say, it is due to some lucks cause other teams like newcastle is losing as well. GH and the players must buck up and have fighting spirits instead of finding excuses to blame referees, injuries, pitches, etc. -

Gerard Houllier dismissed more speculation about his long-term future at Liverpool by insisting: "Those things do not bother me".
In the wake of Liverpool's dismissal from the UEFA Cup in Marseille, he was confronted with headlines screaming for his exit if Liverpool do not reach the Champions League next season.
But Houllier laughed off yet another barrage of criticism over his job and future by saying: "The sniping that goes on back home does not bother me. The motivation comes from where we want to be, not who we want to prove wrong."
He added: "I really don't care about all the stuff that is supposed to be happening. I used to be upset because it upset my team but not any more.
"We will live with that, they are not upset now or bothered about what is written or said about the future." -
I guess , by saying this , it eased off the pressure for the team , and he knew all the while , his job is at stake !
Now LFC are out of the competition , deep within himself , psychologically , being human , he will concede by our demand , he fail to deliver , he will automatically quit !
Remember Mr Moore ever said , he quits if LFC doesn't gets into UCL ? That's a very obvious hint that if GH fails , GH too , has to give up the post ?
