There's simply no other way abt it!
According to reports, GH is mostly likely to stay put next season. So not getting tat 4th spot will be a double whammy. More so, it can be a rather high price to pay - not juz the lost revenue, but the less attractiveness of the club to lure good talents - Mexes the latest.
Like most fans, I drag having to go thru the last 5 "finals"...esp. after the shocking loss to Charlton. But I'm still hoping for the best for the club... as a fan, the least I could do is to get behind the Reds all the way!!!

At the last count, there are as many as 7 teams with a chance for the 4th place. And for the gamblers, place/collect ur bets now.

one thing to look at.... the new players we got. Why players who came to Liverpool seems to lost their form and touch.

enough said. To me, 4th or no 4th spot is not the main concern, neither is whether GH is staying or not as long as the players can get their act together and play like a GREAT team which we often know Liverpool as. -
based on liverpool performance, think they would be lucky to get a UEFA spot instead..

Ur season has ended then... for me, I'm not gonna throw in the towels as yet.
I know 4th placing is no consolation...but it's simply the best we can hope for now. We juz have to cut the "losses". Getting the 4th spot shd never be viewed as an achievement...n GH shd be assessed as such.
For whatever tat goes wrong this season or the past few, I hope they can thrash it out when the season ends. -
Oh yes ! I fully agree that base on the current league standings , more than 5 teams outside the likes of LFC and Newcastle are capable of getting the fourth spot ! Namely.....
1.Villa ( really underdogs ! )
2.Birmingham ( coming stronger and stronger ! )
3.Boro ( unlikely , but possible ! )
4.Fulham ( the desire & hunger is there ! )
5.Charlton ( a bonus for fourth , a certain for UEFA Cup ! ) -

As Liverpool will not qualify for CL, who can Rick attract as new manager ?
Without any CL soccer for the past three season, Rick is pretty out of cash due to the GOLDEN CATCH of HESKEY and DIOUF.
So, what choices does RICK have ?

Newcastle are favourite now , ever since we lost to Charlton at home , the fate is not in our hands now , it lies at the hand of Newcastle liao.....
It may take quite a while , quite a change , in fact an overhaul in the Board of Directors , Coach , Management , players , then we can smell something !

After last night's game..... I just can't see how Liverpool going to get the 4th spot.

Fm the way this season goes...anything is still possible. All the teams fighting for the 4th placing are rather inconsistent so far, which explains why the fight is still wide-opened.
We've only ourselves to blame for the situation we're now in...but wat's new this season, or the last few?!
As long as it's still mathematically possible to get tat 4th spot, we'll hv something to look forward to.
