Rick Parry had flown to Bangkok to conclude the deal , which is said to be that Thaksin had purchase a 30% stakes of LFC's share !
65 Million pound + Champions League Revenue , around 10 Million.....Wow !

No la....that $$$ would be handful for future developement , like stadium , Youth Academy , player's wages , etc.....
Without that 65 million pounds , i think Liverpool will still have that limited resources for purchasing of new players , that's why some players need to be off-loaded !
With this "extra income" , we won't be like Leeds for sure , if carefully budget ! -
This sounds like a good biz deal - a win-win situation where we get more kitty for good players while they get our exclusive rights in Asia.

Anyway, the $$$ may not be Thaksin's alone, if at all. Besides, it's purely a biz deal...whether he's at the box cheering us is secondary, as long as he's not running our club or doing anything negative to us. In fact, I think the deal involves them promoting the LFC name in asia. -
