I think he deserve to be there for another season , just to prove without strengthen this squad further , he can deliver at least one trophy next season !

For example , remember that Roberto Mancini , that ex-Lazio's long serving player , he's doing a fantastic job with Lazio right now , he doesn't need to buy expensive players , but look at him , Lazio has been brilliant this season !
One best thing is , this is only his first season as Head-Coach ! -

Although GH have done badly this season, but let us not forget that he brought us some trophies in recent years.
GH finally got it rite with his line-up. He has been experimenting with his new signings in the first half of the season and end up much worse. This current formation is the best we have seen so far.
Carragher, being a no-nonsense defender, is a excellent centreback much faster than henchoz. With Murphy, Gerrard and Kewell providing the creative sparks, finally Owen and Heskey is getting their shots in.I believe he will keep his lineup for the final match unless any injuries. -
Nope... he was not given time to prove the worth of the $ spent with exception of Veron (think he can only play in Italy)

Ranieri has done well.Champions League semi finals and 2nd in the league.
But we all know that Abramovich wants success.If Ranieri can't deliver it,Abramovich will look elsewhere.There's always going to be a better manager for any job.I'm not surpised if he gets sacked.But then again,it won't surprise me either if he stays,cos he has done a reasonable job at Chelsea. -
