Looking forward to the new season, ie!
CL soccer, substantial new funds for big signings, title-or-bust season for GH, Owen n Stevie-G staying put... all these only boils down to exciting happenings in the coming pre-season period. It's certainly more so than the last when we signed Kewell. -
I'm more concern now to who will be axed this season !
Some expensive foreign signings just need to go to let Cisse comes in ! Or else we'll be in for a "Tinker" time , this time by GH !
Guess what , we have Mick Owen , E.Heskey , Neil Mellor , Baros , Sinama , Diouf and in-coming Cisse , 7 strikers ! -

Selling them will mean more funds for new players too...yes! -
Some correction to Poolman's statement.
Liverpool does not have 7 strikers.
Diouf not longer a striker, he have left wing himself to some bar and kana banned by GH.
Heskey is like Andy cole to Man United, a crowd entertainer and a player that helped Liverpool in having the MOST shots (misses) at goal.
The two Senegal players can pack their bags and go home to their second division.
Liverpool can put their reserves team against Newscastle.
I believe GH must be preparing his ya ya papaya speech after the Anfield match.
He would end his speech: " I told you so...na na na na na!"

So sad to see Diouf totally "destroyed" by GH !
He made his name as a striker playing , and scoring for fun for Senegal , now it's sad to see him deployed at left wing , and got total criticism from us !
