Heskey completes Birmingham move

Emile Heskey has official left Liverpool this morning to join Birmingham City in a deal which the Midlands club insist makes him the Blues' new record signing.
Birmingham City have today clinched the signing of Liverpool striker Emile Heskey for a club record £6.25 million on a five-year deal.
The Leicester-born forward made his name at his hometown club, notching 46 goals in 197 games at Filbert Street to earn an £11 million move to Anfield in March 2000.

Nevertheless, we should be thankful for Heskey's contribution to the club during his stay. -

Heskey's sale is predictable since day one that D.Cisse is on the way to Anfield !
Heskey did himself no favour by playing some lousy football on the way , and missed some crucial goal scoring opportunites !
The fans has been mourning about Heskey and I guessed the pressure has been too much for him to perform better !
In the other hand , just a wild guess for me ..... he's not to fond about LFC's footballing tactics used for the last two seasons , that's maybe why he chose to leave !
So sad for my fella Red Kop , Jasmine !

I think he was given a roll he is not familar with (winger???) thus making him out of place and not scoring goals.

Heskey will be the Top scorer for the Blues in the first season.
He have a point to prove to the fans tha he is not lousy.
As the rest of the pple have stated, he never have the chance to lead the attack in Liverpool.
He is a side kick to Owen.
So, he have to go to some other club to be the Number One.
