Frankly, I'll be very shocked if Stevie leaves now... coz I believe his heart is burning RED! Wat with the appt of a new manager n possibly some exciting new signings...I'm pretty sure he'll like to stay on n help put the Reds back to where we belong

Stevvie and Owen were consulted over the new appt of the new Manager and since Benitez is their choice, it's likely both of them will stay.

With high title winning prospects and a huge pay check in place,it would not be surprising if Gerrard leaves.What will surprise me is if he is allowed to leave for less than 50 million pounds.
Steven Gerrard was the heart and soul of Liverpool last season.The team without him will be unimaginable.
Though there are reports that Gerrard will leave with Scott Parker or even Damien Duff coming over,plus 31 million pounds upfront.The funds expected to go into the purchase of Ayala,Vicente and Aimar.
If this is the case,it does'nt necessarily spell a bad thing afterall.

The fact is we'll live...with/without Stevie. With the 30m, we're even more likely to see new exciting players like Nedved, Rosicky, VDV, Vicente, etc.... To me, Nedved alone will prove to be more than capable replacement.
Looks like the ball is in Stevie's court...of course I'm still hopeful of him staying.
