Please do not start getting so excited. The decline of Liverpool Football Club (herein known as LFC) is the result of ineffective management of various managers and coaches over the years. Please do not expect Rafael Benitez to perform miracles. If he is capable, LFC should be challenging for the English Premiership title in 5 years time.

I dont expect titles next season but I'm glad that changes has been made....
Players not performing has been sold.. manager who got brain by-pass (supposed to be the heart only) removed.
At least somethings has been done to ensure the LFC make improvements.... -
As a Liverpool Fan for all these years, the ultimate aim is to win the coveted Premier League Title.
Successs cannot come overnight.
I agree that there is no guarantee that the new manager can bring wonders.
But, changes must be made for continuous improvement.
I kudo the Liverpool Club management for axing GH to prevent further decline.
GH have done a good job for LFC but he having difficulties in motivating his players and employing good tactics.
So, he should move on for the new manager.
Nobody is expecting wonders for the new manager.
We just expressing our wish and hunger for the EPL title. -

... i can fully understand why fans from one of our biggest rivals do not feel the least excited ... of course they wouldn't feel excited ...
... at the same time i cannot see how fans from the mighty reds can not feel excited ... we may or may not become successful again ... but things are definitely looking brighter on paper ... -

We'll try not 2b overly-excited...coz we remember it took MU over 20yrs to recapture their former glory - h/ver little they were!
