nothing is for sure now, look at chelski (previous season) they got hasseibank, gudjohnsen, mutu, crespo still can't really make an impact
yes, having an effective/productive PLAYMAKER could seriously make a different with two strikers upfront...
any candidate so far? any suggestion? -

denilson - flashy player imo... but often little end-product...
rui costa - too old... not the player he used to be...
nedved - will be good for couple of seasons or maybe three but it is unlikely that juve will let him go...

Benitez will sign a couple of new players likely to be from Spanish La Liga , he mentioned he need a further one extra striker and with a centre-back of Josemi signed , a play-maker is very likely , this time I hope it's a real Big name !
With Smicer injured , it's even more likely someone will come in !
Trust me , nobody from Valencia CF will come to Liverpool FC ! Benitez do not want to kana ku-toh by Valencia ! So , Aimar is definitely out i guess !
He knew much more unsung players from Spain ! We will see some surprising signings for sure !

Even with Heskey we are good... just that no one can provide him n Owen with the balls... end up Heskey became a winger. -

Danny Murphy will be almost the first on Benitez's team sheet , besides Gerrard ! And I can see he likely to groom Biscan into a more action midfielder ! -
I think the best strike force would be Henry and Rooney.

I'm not surprised if he likes Murphy - the creator of 2 goals agst Celtic.
