Dudek felt the should have been disallowed because he felt he was fouled by Nicolas Anelka, but added he would put the mistake behind him and bounce back to his best form.
Dudek said: "I was surprised because I didn't think the goal would be given. It was frustrating for me because it was the last minute of the half.
"Maybe I should have been more aggressive, but sometimes when you do that as a keeper you risk giving away a penalty. But you can't say it doesn't matter because we won. To me, it does matter.
"I think it was the wrong decision of the referee to allow the goal. I caught the ball, then Anelka landed on my back and the ball fell out of my hands.
"It's a good lesson for me. I prefer to have those kind of lessons when we win so I'm thankful to the boys for coming back.
Just admit that you have make a boo-boo, no one will kill you for it.
Just dun do it again, asp against Man U.

Once Kirkland is fit,Dudek will be dropped to the bench.

excuses.
I watched the game, saw the goal clearly. Dudek mishandle the ball. He has the chance to give a clean catch on the first time the ball came to him. He have to fumble and let the ball slip out of his hands and give Anelka a chance to score which he gladly did.

Dudek reminds me of Houllier. We don't need any Houllier's wannabies in the team. I hope Benitez will get rid of him as soon as Kirkland returns from injury.

I expect Kirkland to be No.1 this season , but Benitez sticked with Dudek ....
Kirkland did himself no favour by injured ..... himself again !
Hope Benitez see enough of Dudek's blunder and give Kirkland a chance to be No.1 !

I'm not sure why he's in jitters recently?! No pressure rite - Kirkland is injured?!
To be fair, he has served us well in many matches. But juz when u least expected, he wld perform some suicidal stunts.
So if Beni is seriously considering a new established keeper...Dudek's days wld be numbered.
