I guess all the fans have to be paitent with Ah Ben.
He is still new to the EPL and he have not established the right formula to use for Liverpool.
From last night match, the Liverpool team is at loss in playing as a team and not looking sharp in front of goal mouth.
Ah Ben still not sure what is the qualities of the individual players that he have.
So, he have to undergo more experimenting and more defeat.
He is taking responsibility of the situation.
Dun expect Liverpool to be the top 5 clubs this season.
Hope the team can learn their mistakes from their defeat and gel into a stronger fighting team. -

i always have a fear of disappointment when liverpool play nowadays.
where we get ball, nth happen. when teams like arsenal get ball, confirm got chance 1

We din play well but certainly unlucky to lose - at this age and time, why are they still relying on human judgement...video-replays shd be used for impt decisions like this!?
Anyway, I'm glad to see the new boys in action. Garcia was easily the MOM for us... unlucky not to claim his debut goal. Alonso looked quite similar to Stevie's style of play...some clean n sweet passings by him; but need to work on his phsyical side of game. Warnock was effective on the left... but his crossings cld've been better.
I'm quite surprised with the omission of Henchoz tho - both this n last match. Diao n Traore are not good enuff cover for our central defence... this is a worrying sign unless he intends to get someone these 2 days. -
Let put it this way, Liverpool will never achieve what they have in the 70s and the 80s ever again. Just like Man U, will never do what they have done during the 90s....well maybe if they sign Ronney....
What I am saying is....Liverpool is now...not like the Arsenals and the Chelseas....we are more like Spurs, Blackburn, Charlton, Bolton group. First 3 place no need to say who.....the rest are just fighting for the 4th.....
You guys talk about giving Rafa time...I'm sure the people at Anfield also talk about giving him time.....but if this carries on....I'm sure Gerrard will leave during the mid season window....we might become the next Leed.... -

With Gerrard on the wings, thecentre of the park loses it's dynamitism and thrust when the lads are poised for attack. Clearly, we have seen some pretty neat passes from Alonso but it's not his game to be more of a physical player.
It looks pretty clear to me that Gerrard and Alonso will make a dynamic pair in the center of the park than the Hamann and Alonso pairing we saw yesterday. Thou Alonso was positioned on the right wing but soon we saw him drifted from the right to center and he started making neat passes from the center.
It's probably right to say that we still need a proper right winger to add into the squad. -
garcia was the only bright spark in liverpool yesterday. Gerrard was rather off form but i must say i was impressed wif warnock's darting runs. Pity he had to make way for cisse half way.
hope tt liverpool can rally together and put up a better performance the next match.

but things look hopeful. need more cohesiveness. just need a little more tweaking.

It was quite clear he was not enjoying playing on the left... from the look of his face. Alonso has neat touches but slow on the turn. Gerrard will compliment that. -
Stayed up till 1am to watch the match (these days, got match must watch.. dont knw when ESS and SCV's dispute can be settle )
Disappointed... but not very upset with the score line. With new blood, sure have to take time for they to click and get the team together.
Good performance by Warnock (is this how to spell his name???) BUT no one to meet his crosses.. why Luis Garcias runs into the box and stop there... was the Bolton keeper so dangerous that he dare not go too near to him?

How many times we have seen crosses wasted.. possession lost easily in this game.. I seriously lost count.
If I were to compare Arsenal and Liverpool.. I felt like when ever Arsenal goes forward with the ball it gets me up on the edge of my seat cos I goal is likely or at least the keeper will have to make a save... when liverpool goes forward... sad to say... a lost of possession or an off target shot is what I see.
Nevertheless, its a team in the building... still a lot to do to gel the team together and hopefully... a much exciting Liverpool can been seen. -
I was quite surprised Benitez wanted the players to play those long balls like Houllier did !
Cisse and Baros are never to me a long ball player ! They're more to those ground ball people !
Even more surprise , when you've Alonso , Garcia , playing their debut , to make them adept to those long balls , it's quite a introduction to them of English football ! -

Personally, I dun miss much of Murphy. A industrious player perhaps but when it comes to the final pass to the attacking third... it end up somewhere in the park.
I gave credit to Alonso and Garcia cos I tght they did pretty decent on their very first match. The match was pretty much on the physical side with The Bolton players throwing the dirt most of the time. Hyypia for example got the first blow.
Alonso must had realized that he needs to pass the ball much faster cos the game is definitely more pacy than la liga.
Overall, it's not easy for the new players to come in and to settle in so easily. That's quite a bit of team changes against Bolton and surely they knew they have to maintain shape so players get organise and know their task ahead.
Looks like for the fist Season with Bennie in charge, a Top three placing and a Champions League placing is top of LFC's priority. Realistically, to beat the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea is still a distant away. -

4th placing - Sorry, Liverpool is not there either.
Boro, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Bolton are gunning for the 4th position.
Liverpool is still playing the two forwards vs four defenders game.
There is no way they can win the present game.
By the way, the strikers get the ball, wiggle through the defenders, they will be too tired to aim and shoot.
I agreed with Poolman.
Cisse is NOT Henry and he need some one to thread the ball to him.
And I have yet see his "speed".
We have to start to Step One.

It's only the third match of the season , I shall not put a judgement into Liverpool's season , it's a bit unfair to Benitez ! He had just get the season started !
It's true from the way we seen from the play , Liverpool is playing only their 60% potential , without the other 40% , we are not in the position to judge Liverpool now .
Later la , give them a chance to gel , the team needs some time to grip , three games is not enuf , that's for sure !
We just need a BIG win to kick start our winning habit !

I have been disappointed for so long, i am starting to get immuned to Liverpool losing. I found a way to sooth my anger every time they fail to win. I just bet against them, if they win i happy, if they lose or fail to overcome the asian handicap, i get paid! And believe me i have been making money for the past few seasons.
