No worries,LFC have ample replacements in the centre of midfield.Though,there may not be in terms of leadership on the pitch.
I expect LFC to beat Norwich,simply because its played at Anfield and Norwich are relegation candidates this season.
Benitez likes the 4-5-1.So I don't think we'll see Baros and Cisse in the same team for quite a while.The key to a successful 4-5-1 is the wingers.Kewell and Finnan must perform.They must join the attack and lend support to the lone striker,along with the player behind him,usually Luis Garcia.Against Man U,Kewell and Finnan were crippled.LFC simply did not play well. -
it takes something to defeat a 11-man defending team. all they are playing for is prolly just a draw. and any chance they are looking to score is set pieces. other than that, pool defence should be able to contain norwich w.o any difficulty. watch out for huckerby though, he might create something out of nothing with the help of his pace

You should have taken a look at Graeme Souness after that Veteran , Carr scored the winner from long range ! I never seen him like that at Rovers or LFC ! -

L'Pool is a controlling team currently , if we gained control , teams that defend , needs more than a bus to park between the goal post !!

Actually, I'm not worried...coz we've got an able replacement in Alonso. I see it as a chance for Alonso to show wat he can do for us. Of course, Stevie will be missed for his leadership and never-say-die attitude. But I hope tat will only spur the team on!

I like to see Hamann back in the fold partnering Xavi Alonso in the middle of the park.
Noticed that the defence played better and thus allowing Alonso to initiate attacks. No doubt abt his visions, like the one he tried a long shot at Man Utd's goal when Liverpool breaks out to attack.
Norwich has some good players in Robert Green and David Bentley(on Loan from Arsenal). And gee... has Green been outstanding between the post for Norwich! He could be the man to stop Liverpool's attack. -

think norwich will play defensively this weekend, 5-man midfield perhaps
Luis Garcia will be tha man to watch, forget about Mr.Cisse
possible scoreline: 2-1 (bentley the man) -
give Biscan a chance... he look exciting in the midfield role.. willing to take shots from outside the box... and good with headers...
Try playing 2 strikers instead of L.Gracia behind Cisse the lone ranger -

i think bentiez has been rotating the players well enough, because i get to hear things like this or that player has been rested and still we're still winning games.
maybe its early to say but at least we started better than last season! the game against man utd and bolton, just a dud. maybe more duds to go but this is benitez's first season, let him test water first. -
Alonso played well last night in distributing the balls to the players.
He is better than Steven Gerrard in that manners.
I believe Hamman is influenced by him and went forward also.
Warnock played well also in fighting for the ball.
Kewell can pack his bags liao.
Cisse seem to be very low in confidence.
Not much of facial expression after his goal.
Hope Ah Ben can give him a good thought.
Maybe Cisse have not get used to the physical aspect of the english game.
I dun agree that Liverpool is world class yet.
They need to play more in the same team to gel.
At least they are playing better every match.

What a good victory we had, we bounced back well . Alfonso and Gracia are excellent signings as they have showed us so far . With Nunez and Gerrard coming back soon, our future is very bright.
