Newcastle are interested in providing Michael Owen with a way out of Real Madrid, where the England striker has been struggling since his summer transfer. Sitting on the bench behind Raul and Ronaldo, Owen has not seen much playing time and has admitted to struggling to adapt to the culture and language. David Beckham favours a move to Arsenal if he decides to leave Real Madrid, says The Sun. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger apparently told Beckham in the summer - at Martin Keown's testimonial - that he would make a bid for the England captain if he needed an escape route from Spain. Beckham is said to have feared that Real would sell him to Chelsea. -

Either Mista or Morientes will come over to Anfield.
Both are quality players.I will love to have them both at Anfield.Spices up the competition and could also mean the end of Sinama Pongolle( off on loan perharps.) -

mayb Mista is a gd option cos he left-footed and Benitez knows him well. add more competition to strikers. at the moment Cisse and Baros thinks that the strikers position they dominate already, so they die die will get 2 play no matter wat. But if either Morientes or Mista comes, thye gonna start performing some quality man! and we the fans can have some nice shows...

Even more so when his good pal le Tallec is almost out liao. So any new strikers signed in Jan05 cld spell the end of Pongelle's career with us...a pity tho.
