I need to revise my French for my exam tomorrow so I will do it over here
How to describe people:
enthusiastic-enthousiaste
idealistic-idealiste
funny-drole
reasonable-raisonable(comes from the word "raison", which means right)
gentille-gentle
courageous-courageux(m.)/courageusse(f.)
hardworking-travailleur(.m)/travaileuse(f.)-comes from the word "travaille" meaning "work"
So if you have noticed, the feminine version of the word, will have the ending -se
So if you want to say a girl is hardworking, it will be this way:
Elle est travailleuse
as opposed to saying a guy is hardworking:
Il est travaileur
And if it is a group of people, usually just attach -s to the end of the word, unless it is a word ending with -s or -x.
To say that a group of guys are courageous:
Ils sont courageux
To say that a group of ladies is courageous:
Elles sont courageuses
Will be putting up more as I revise
