well, a relationship is not one that is easily forgotten.. esp if it is still quite recent one... wounds are left after a breakup.. memories (both good and bad) are still residing in both your heart and mind... you surely need time to get over things.. whether it is a long period or a short period of time..
i understand guys would not like their gf to be still thinking of their ex when they are with them.. similarly it is the same for girls.. but they have to be reasonable..
if you tell me 6 months after a breakup and having got attached with someone else and you are still missing tt ex, then you may just need more time before going on with this relationship...
but if you tell me 6 days after a breakup and you got attached with someone else and you are expected to forget tt ex, either you are trying a rebound, or you are not seriously in love with the ex last time, or you are basically asking for the impossible... you definitely need time to get over the past..
if they expect you to be able to get over ur past immediately, most probably they either dun really care for your feelings/emotions or they never really fall in love before....
everything in life is almost progressively... progressing from strangers to acquaintance.. progressing from friends to lovers, progressing from like to love.. there are cases where things dun go progressively.. like love at first sight... it does not mean it will not work out.. but that there will be more need of understand and tolerance to make the relationship work out..
with understanding, you have a better insight as to how the relationship will turn out.. without understanding, you are taking a gamble in life...
so sit back and take a review.. are them worthwhile? -

if he really love you, ask him to respect your decision..
