wat to wear??

got date this saturday...
dunno wat to wear...
plus it is freezing over here so i have to absolutely wear a sweater when i go out, otherwise i will die from the cold...
so am thinking of a long black skirt (the flowy kind) and a black top with a black, furry sweater...
problem is...it is too black...like wan to go funeral like dat..
but i dun have other color top oledi...
anyone got any suggestion?

neutralise it with a shawl of other colours.......like dark red.....violet......
or a bright colored handbag......
tts wat i do for CNY.......black from head to toe but drape a red shawl and carry red bag......so my grandma wun kaobeh -

Stick to denim jeans lah.. Works best in winter.

Everyone is in grey/black/blue.. hahaha.. Summer gotta balance all this bubblegummy colours .. too much for me to handle.
Like me lah.. carry a nice bag. Nobody will notice what you're wearing.. That's what happens. People's attention are on the bag first and last. -

i got no other sweater to match lor...
and no handbag of other color...ack!
i realize my wardrobe looks really terrible wif all the dull color in it...all my formal clothes are mostly black or brown..

i usually wear the same jeans thruout the week...cos so comfy...

i can't wear belt wif my long flowing skirt...it will look weird...plus i dun have belts anyway...
the only nice high heeled shoes i have is also black..

sportsgirl is my favourite
first place i would go whenever i step in AUS
last place i would go when i about to leave AUS....to see if i left out anything i din buy.....
filled one big luggage of sportsgirl clothes back to SG.....

dat sweater i mentioned just now...
a turtleneck, maroon in color, one of my fave pieces but i wore it last time wif him to go dancing...just a few months ago so i cant wear it again...
a black, satin top, bare-backed one, halterneck...but i will freeze to death plus it looked really dressed up..i dun wan to appear like not myself cos the last time i wore dat top is to my high school prom...
a satin short dress, but again he saw me in it already when i went to a function with him last time...
another black tank top wif ruffles around the tummy area...i planned to wear this one...but then all black...like a bit unauspicious...
a long, flowy black skirt...
a midnite blue dress...it is very flimsy, plus i bought it at a summer sale a year ago, so now fat oledi so now can't wear anymore unless i want to spend the whole time sucking in my tummy...

i spent S$700+ on a trenchcoat which is useless in singapore weather....
so i oni get to wear it when i go places like AUS....which i saw so many trenchcoats selling so much cheaper......
im sure u value this date and the event, so i guess it is worth it to do some shopping and pick a good piece for the occassion.....
perhaps u can oso consider engaging professional service in doing ur hair and makeup on that day -
