Dunno whether this has been posted, but here goes..
"Based on a cell-phone novel that moved 11 million people to tears, "Sky of Love" is a story about a regular girl's three stormy years in high school. While her friends are absorbed about their boyfriends, Mika is clueless about falling in love. She begins receiving phone calls from a boy she doesn't know and is gradually drawn to him. She finally meets him but their happy days soon pass as trouble is brewing on the horizon."
Watched this in a preview screening yesterday...Those who are going to watch, warn you all first, it's definitely a sobfest movie. The storyline quite predictable but yet it will be tear-jerking. Guys will most probably feel bored and spend most of the time consoling their tearing girlfriends. It has a very typical Japanese movie mood...very tranquil and sombre. Movie is around 2 hours long.
But personally, I like the movie a lot...so highly recommended if you want to watch some sentimental and touching love story.
If you think P.S I love you was good, I can assume you that this movie is going to be better. A typical romance story with a gd twist.
Ladies bring more tissues with you.
You can trust the Japanese romance stories to stick to almost the same formula each time, and yet still being able to draw the masses to their theatres for dishing out more of the same material. There'll be the melodramatic, over the top sob moments, together with love filled with various forms of tension ranging from competition to the usual blowing of hot and cold, my my, the list just goes on.

I like the theme songs for this movie as well, there was one sung by Mr Children (who also sang the theme song for the drama 14 year old mother) and another sung by the lead actress herself titled Heavenly Day.
