can i get in to recording industry in taiwan after my graduation.... i want to make it BIG in recording industry.... but spore isnt the place to survive in this industry.... i cant leave my family here... what should i do after graduation?? sobb sobb....

Actually its sad that in other countries, other people (who intend to settle down) would have at least have a stable career and some plans to settle down alredi whethey enter 30s..
Many peeps in sg are still trying to stablilise their career at this point..and its even sadder when i see old ah mas still working at food courts and canteens...

You know what. I consider myself above the rat race already. Yet, I find myself still working because I am not sure what else is there to do in life. So, might as well do some useful work But I do it without stress now, keeping my priorities always for my family -
Actually, come to think of it, I'm also scared that I won't have enough funds for retirement. I always dream of an 'early retirement' so I can relax and take time to smell the roses but I think with the high cost of living here, it's not so easy.
Also, I know of a lot of old couples who end up having a lot a lot of savings, but the minute one of them falls ill, the hospital bills eat up into their money. It can be quite scary.
Do you feel it's too early to plan for retirement now? I do have a reputation amongst my friends for 'thinking too much'. -

Anyway, what do you want to do in "retirement"? Is there so much else you want to do? I once want to retire very early. But now that I am more or less comfortable financially to work a lot less, I find myself not knowing what else to spend my life on. So, I continue to work hard.
Anyway, I am a wilful employee who will not have second thought about taking leave (unpaid if necessary) for a month long tour. Just did that this march -
