Yup - guard of honour at the SAF Day Parade, 1992. Leaned on my rifle and slept right through the CDF's speech. I only woke up at the sound of the RSM's "BARIS......" after the speech was over.Originally posted by Poopie-Head:have u guys seen people sleep while standing?

I tot they want us have 7 hrs of sleep, if not can RSIOriginally posted by wuming78:seems like defence exercises always deprive ppl of sleep!
mine was a defence ex too. and i can still remember when it was time to cover up our trenches, i was sleeping WHILE using the hoe and spade to cover up my trench - my hands did not stop moving though i dozed off!
dozed off while walking too during a navex-route march - it was preceded by bouts of hallucinations, seeing things that were not there along the way!
and of course, dozing off while standing in the mrt. this happens especially towards the end of the week.
