Chinese New Year Holidays 2005

Yay! I've got approval for one week's leave for the week after CNY 2005!
I'm just wondering who else is available during that period? Wanna make a trip up to say, Genting Highlands for some Rest & Relaxation? No strict itinerary to follow, just a free and easy thing. We go as a group, but we can do whatever we feel like doing.

Yes.. coz the food in the hotels & foodcourts not nice. Not cheep aso.. unless u eat fastfood all the time. If u wan to eat deer meat.. squirrels.. or even bah kut teh.. can go mushroom farm. I wouldn't mind going but I would have to be on a TBC. Gotta see how things are first.
Erm, I don't know if you all know this but CNY is traditionally one of the most crowded times of the year at Genting. I have not been there before on CNY but I have heard a lot of stories that the place will be extremely packed with Singaporeans and their families. You almost feel as though you are backed in Singapore.
There will be very very long queues for food and entertainment etc. And I think the casino will be even worse.
Just wanted to sound you all out in case you are not too aware of the situation. -
Kismet, it'll be the week after Chinese New Year, not Chinese New Year period itself. It shouldn't be that crowded then cause the kids will have to return to school so the Singaporean families would all have to be back home.
In any case, if it's only me and Bear, it might not happen. -

Anyways, it is still 3 mths away. Who knows who else might be interested in the trip. -
Eep - probably won't be able to make it. The first quarter of the year's going to be a busy time for me.
