I think there is nothing nicer than listen to the smooth sound of jazz late into the night.
What do you guys like to listen late into the night?

Elindra, Jazz IS great for night time chillout!
At work, when we're on night duty, depending on who's on shift, we'll play mostly love songs, jazz, or instrumentals. I bring the CD's sometimes. Other times, we'll just turn on the radio and it's usually Class 95 or Mandarin songs from FM93.3.
Actually, when I used to live in Marsiling, on one of the higher floors, my kitchen faces a distant hilly park and I went to get high stools so I could sit on it every now and then, leave all the lights off, turn up some jazz / love songs / new age / whatever, get a nice drink, and just sit on my high stool, looking out of the kitchen window. That was LIVING! hehehe! 
I've been thinking of getting a high stool for ages now but the view from my kitchen is nothing to boast of... I see the neighbouring block of flats.
Worse, upgrading is in progress now and all I see is rubble. -
Hehehehe.

Wish I was back at my old place. I can mosey down to the beach if I wanted but sitting at the balcony watching the cars go by is fun enough -
hmm ... right now is 91.3 on the radio .... cheesy techno!
I do like the sound of jazz but dunno how to appreciate it
They kinda all sound the same to me even tho i know the different styles etc etc. Most of the time tho midnight madness depends on my mood.

When I was living in Singapore, I used to like the jazz music at night on International FM.

Somehow I feel that most jazz listeners in Singapore only appreciate those smooth and modern jazz. not much people are really into those mind twisting jazz like contrane, pharoah sanders, miles. -
