Tillandsia - Air Plants

  I'm currently crazy about them.
  Anyone keeping them as well?

  Hey I have this as well and its the one blooming!!
  
  Thing is not that many flowers
  
  Only 1. I think I will post a pic when it blooms.

  Tried before but not able to keep them for long..I had one that they grow in snail shell pots..frequently see them for sale in pasar malams....dunno what its called though...
  sadly, no plant survives my cats constant attacks....sigh....dunno why, they just cant resist plants...and killing them.

  I glued mine to drift wood and have cute little ceremic turtles and starfish on it.
  
  Placed another in a small chinese tea pot and 2 others with ducks and frogs on a large smooth stone pebble
  
  They are cute and clean

  used to keep african violets.... LOADS of leaves, no flowers... for years.. so i abandoned them and they died
  
  a year after they died, i figured out that i was giving them the wrong fertiliser/nutrients

  African Violets are really sensitive plants
  I don't think they can last a week in my care
