I've always dreamt of living in a house with a room to designate as my very own Library!
I'm just wondering how many of you out there have entertained such thoughts as well?
It'll be great to have lovely wooden bookshelves with my books nicely displayed, and enough space for all the magazines, etc... and then to have enough time to catalogue them nicely and cross-reference some of the materials (like recipes, cross-stitch patterns, dress-making patterns, etc).
The classics will be displayed in their nice little corner. And then, there would be the complete set of The Chronicles of Narnia, and my medical thrillers, and novels I render to have substance enough to deserve a place on my shelves.
And wow... it would be doubly nice to have someone special in my life who loves to read as well so there'll be His books and Her books and then, Our books.
That's also a perfect opportunity to 'cross genres' and get the impetus to start reading something you would otherwise never have imagined yourself reading.
And while we're at it, how about a separate Entertainment Room with space for the good ol' CD collection and Movies collection?
A comfy couch, a decent surround sound system, and... a nice, firm chest to lean on and strong manly arms enveloping you as you both recline, relax and enjoy a movie together... mmmmMMMMmmmmm!!!
What would life be without Books, Music and Movies?
