Painted Faces

I'm always amazed at the things some girls do in the name of beauty.
Make-up is supposed to enhance one's features and to hide flaws, but I think some girls overdo it and instead of beautifying themselves, they do a good job de-beautifying themselves
I wonder all the time if these females actually look into the mirror before stepping out of the house. Don't they see that the foundation they use is wayyyyy too light and wayyyyy too thick that it makes them look like they are wearing a mask? Can't they see that they use too much eyeshadow and blusher that they look like one of those painted face in the Chinese Opera Troupe.
I had a nasty shock once late at night near my place. There was this girl whose foundation was applied so thickly that her entire face was soooo white it made her look like a ghost. The amount of blusher and blue eye shadow she applied was so heavy and unblended that it looked totally horrible. She was with her bf.......I really wonder if the bf made any comments or he didn't dare to make any comments
It is also common sight in the MRT of females wearing too much blusher (most common) or too much eye shadow or eye-liner that has smudged till they look like a panda. Honestly~ in our humid weather is it really necessary to apply so much make-up?
I have nothing against heavy make-up as long as it is well-applied. Have seen a few examples before and they look great! -
Yep, i've seen gd examples of nicely painted & horrifying examples. Some of them want to cover up their "flaws", like a lighter shade of foundation to make them look fairer. Or thick eyeliner & mascara to achieve bigger eyes. Wat they don't realise is when make-up last thru the day, the "paint" oxidises & changes colour. As it starts to MELT & crack, dats when they go to the washroom for "touch-ups" & add more paint.
For myself, make-up shld b as "natural" as possible so dat i won't look funny or totally another person when i'm without colours. Got put like no put? The point is to Look Polished, not Made-up.

You put so much powder on your face your make up sure finish very fast ma
Then to wash the gunk off you need to invest in those cleansers and such -

Yeah saw some gals doing tat too, makes them look like as if they going for a wayang show or something.Tats why i i always try to have light make up.
