Last night was a nightmare! I was on my feet for 6.5 hrs straight, rushing about, so stressed out and soooooo tired. No break also last night until I HAD to go for a 15-min break at 6:30am. I was close to collapsing myself. I was totally exhausted but oh well, lives were saved / sustained.

wAH.. slave indeed..Originally posted by Rhonda:Hey, did you know that the Bear is in that very job? He's also on the same shifts!
Thoreldan, last Oct-Nov, we had to apply for an entire year's worth of leave for 2005!!! Can you beat that? And if you choose the 'peak periods', it's straight to the ballot. Also, those who are single / married but childless are discouraged from taking leave during the school holiday periods. And to top it all off, we have to apply in one-week slots.
Tell me I'm not a modern-day slave!
Can.. den i go over.. u in turn sayang me on the Ward A bed after tt..Originally posted by Rhonda:You sayang me by coming over after midnight to bring me supper, can?
It's my colleagues who make the job bearable sometimes. Last night, they saw how busy I was and they all chipped in to help. They knew I was close to collapsing and my temper was getting shorter cuz I was tired and hungry and frustrated so they quickly rallied around to help. So sweet, right? Without this teamwork, I wouldn't have been able to make it last night. Must count my blessings too.Originally posted by Gackt247:wAH.. slave indeed..
