Ah... so slow but steady wins the race?Originally posted by Gedanken:From experience, it's incredibly fun but also incredibly chaotic.
I'm sure the other forumites who know me would shudder at a double-dose of my mania. Staying up till the wee hours of the morning free-associating. Driving through pea-soup fog on a twisty country road at 130 km/h. Waking the neighbourhood up while playing on a swing at 4 in the morning.
It was a gas, but not something that was meant to last. The flame that burns brightest burns shortest, after all.
Nah, not really. There were issues that neither of us could do anything about, and that ultimately led us to deciding that we'd be better off as friends. I won't go into those issues except to say that neither of us is to blame. We're still good friends, although we probably won't do those country drives again.Originally posted by Rhonda:Ah... so slow but steady wins the race?

It can be bliss and it can be hell. I know someone well, almost exactly like me but we just terminated our decade long friendship on 25 Dec 2004. *sigh*Originally posted by ilovemyrolex:what it's like to be with someone exactly like you but of the opposite sex?

quite true.... ^_^Originally posted by Devon:might be fun? but no idea till it really happens. when 2 pple are too alike, u'll know wat the other's up to, so no surprises, pretty boring, but at least there will be things to communicate about..pros n cons i guess?
Seriously speaking? ...Originally posted by ilovemyrolex:what can happen to end a decade long friendship? I hardly have friends from that far back...

Hmm, I wish that will be true..Originally posted by Rhonda:Ah... so slow but steady wins the race?
Depends on one's character.. if stubbornness and refusal to give in is impt.. then conflict is highly envisaged if you are with someone exactly like that..Originally posted by ilovemyrolex:what it's like to be with someone exactly like you but of the opposite sex?
