Bookmarks?

  Do you purchase bookmarks to use? Do you use those new book bracelets? (They're elastic bands with a few fancy beads)
  
  If not, what do you use to mark your page?

  I have a small but ever-growing collection of bookmarks. And I have one book bracelet and one 'book thong'. A 'book thong' is a fancier way of calling a book bracelet. Funny the names they give to products these days!
  
  Sometimes, I use those free ad postcards you get from stands outside cinemas or shopping malls or cafes and use them.
  
  I never ever fold the corner of the page to mark my page. Hope you don't too!

  Me just grab whatever I can grab which mostly include used papers.

  I've actually borrowed a library book once, went home with it, then flipped it open and realised that someone had actually used a $2 note as a bookmark and then forgot all about it!

  I use leaf skeletons as bookmarks... and also this furry furry bookmark I got free from the British Council.

  Is your furry bookmark the ones with an animal's head and tail at each end and the middle is an elastic band?

  I bought some bookmarks last year when some of the students from MINDS came to my school. The bookmarks were quite nice with some words but I displaced them in some books that I had forgotten the titles.

  i use whatever the heck i can get my hands on..
  
  i've used receipts, envelopes, bills, those free postcards.. anything..
  
  don't believe in spending good money to buy bookmarks coz i'll lose them

  Same here.. if i'm lazy or cant bear to sacrifice receipts n stuff.. i juz give the pages affectionate pinching at the corners..

  Ummm, no hehe... it's furry at the top, and then the bookmark is a squirrel picture at the top and the rest of it is about the British Council. It's made of cardboard.

  Oh, do they now have those loyalty card thingies where you get a stamp for every purchase and if you accummulate enough stamps you'll get rewarded for it?

  yah.. collect 8 stickers and you get a 6" sarnie..

  90% of the time - via memory...
  
  sometimes, whatever comes in handy... namecard, receipt, etc...

  I usually use postcards, or those bookmarks that libraries/bookshops give out for free.
