Yeah, in Australia, even the petrol station looks beautiful, and I'm serious.

Well I've only been to NSW and Gold Coast.. gotta say I love both. But I think I prefer Sydney, in terms of the weather. There's also Gloucester in NSW, very mountaineaous region, and Port Stephens.. if only I own a house there, I could go to the sea everyday!

It's so beautiful there...

I miss Australia..

I miss Australia..

I haven't had the chance to see the rest of Australia.. Very Happy

But would love to go to Melbourne one day.

melbourne is nice Wink

but the weather is screwy... still, when days are great in summer, it is wonderful! Very Happy

well, i got no pics of it coz they're lost Neutral

and the last time i went there, it was for a friend's wedding and only his wedding day was fine.. the rest of the time, it was bucketing down.. even Cup Day was horrible Laughing

tsk .. show u mahz....anyway I heard there a really big fish market in australia as well ... though not near half as big as the tokyo fish market but will be interesting to look at the kind of fish dats caught and sold there Very Happy

So if you have pics on it or you ripped them from someplace then pls post it here. hor Razz

I don't think there is a huge fish market in Perth.Although there is a lot of fishing going on up north.

Sydney Fish Market has a reputation for selling seafood at a slightly inflated price!

I prefer buying my fish & seafood from Paddy's Market http://www.sydneymarkets.com.au/paddys/index2.htm

And oh so fresh too! *slurp*
Not only that, you can get cheap vegies, and there is a market (something like Fremantle markets but larger) selling all kinds of stuff like t-shirts, souvenirs, mobile phone accessories, blahblahblah you get the idea Mr. Green

Really worth a visit if you're ever coming to Sydney for a visit! Wink

And I love the pic you took of King's Park! Taken in B&W, it makes the place look so mysterious!

Actually, when I looked at the photo again, I was going to say that the black-and-white shot makes the place look sinister. It looks like some setting for some really creepy / spooky ghost / horror movie. I can imagine some poor soul running through that forest, pursued by either a ghost or some crazy psychotic killer. Razz

Went to the Blue Mountains yesterday, and this is what we took!

The Three Sisters, as these rocks are called, are 'Meehni', 'Wimlah' and Gunnedoo'. The Aboriginal dream-time legend has it that these three sisters had fallen in love with three brothers from the Nepean tribe, yet tribal law forbade them to marry.

The brothers were not happy to accept this law and so decided to use force to capture the three sisters causing a major tribal battle.

As the lives of the three sisters were seriously in danger, a witchdoctor from the Katoomba tribe took it upon himself to turn the three sisters into stone to protect them from any harm. While he had intended to reverse the spell when the battle was over, the witchdoctor himself was killed. As only he could reverse the spell to return the ladies to their former beauty, the sisters remain in their magnificent rock formation as a reminder of this battle for generations to come.

These Three Sisters are 922, 918 & 906 metres tall, respectively.
