So I don't know any night spots! -
Not counting 'the usual' night places like pubs and clubs, I've been prowling Orchard Road late at night and there are only a small no. of 24-hr joints.
Swenson's at Crown Prince Hotel is a pretty good place. Their menu changes at midnight, I think and they offer less than usual but it's still a pretty decent spread.
Coffee Club outside California Fitness Gym. It is pretty crowded until after 2am. Passed by the place at about 2:45am and it was packed! Went again at 4:30am and getting a seat was a breeze!
I'm all for more establishments remaining open for 24 hours!! Can't they see that there's actually a demand for it now, judging by the no. of Night Owls still prowling the streets at ungodly hours?

paying people to run the places will cost them a bomb...
the revenue collected from these people who may just order a coffee and hang around nursing it, may not be enough to cover the expense of keeping the shop open -
Too bad I don't own a car... otherwise, could drive up to JB in the wee hours. Used to do that with friends... sighz...
Actually, with a car, your night hangout options are suddenly widened.
Have you ever slept out in the open on a windbreaker at the beach? You fall asleep looking at the vast night sky and if you're lucky, there'll be twinkling stars and a nice moon to bade you 'good night'.

I think Cathay Cineleisure is quite good for a Saturday night... for movie buffs at least...
There're movies shown thru'out the night and food outlets open til late. For example, BK opens til 3 and I think Maestro Bistro opens til 5am! -

The Makansutra Gluttons' Bay!! It's open daily from 6pm to 3am for the hungry night owl foraging for food!

OH, another place to try, the 24-hr coffee shop at Holland V that's right beside this small mosque, opposite the old market that's currently under renovation, also opposite Windmill Mall, also perpendicular to Crystal Jade.

There's a Tenderbest Chicken stall there run by Muslims and their grilled and fried chicken is soooo sedap!! Yum yum!!! Their chicken chop is also awesome with a thick, peppery sauce that doesn't overkill on the pepper. -
I once sat on the swing chair by the serenely-lit pool in my residential area, with my jacket on.. listening to music. Looking up in the clear night sky, stars sparkling side by side with the livid-yellow moon. Without knowing, I dozed off. Waking up in the middle of the wee hrs bcoz of the cold.
